I just discovered that after copying several files to a network drive that when I try to open the file it is completely empty! A hex editor reveals it is full of all blanks! The original files are fine. Existing files on the network drive are ok. I don't think I have any viruses and I believe the hardware to be all working.

What could cause this and how can I determine which files on the network drive are actually empty files.

Thank you very much.
