Hi Rob,
WnCSMServer is likely associated with AT&T Worldnet and something you will
probably need to allow for your connection to the Internet. Suggest you
check with their support people to see if you can confirm this. If you deny
access do you get any error messages or an indication something that should
be working isn't?
The other item appears to be an updater for the ATT WorldNet Software
Dial-Up Networking connector used to configure your Outlook Express to
connect to the ATT (ISP) service.
I have found that it greatly simplifies everything and prevents possible
problems down the line if you configure your Internet connection manually.
The software provided by the ISP may be automated and simple to set up but
it almost always adds things you don't need. Did AT&T provide your Internet
Explorer and Outlook Express? I don't think so. I believe they are still a
part of Windows and are a Microsoft product.
After confirming those two items are associated with the AT&T software, it's
your call to allow access or not.
