Hi,
I've this weird problem, i.e. whenever or whatever I download from internet, compressed files like .exe, .rar, or .zip files, when I run them, eventhough they're properly and completely downloaded, it doesn't extract or runs. Always says that the file is corrupted and re download. I did redownloaded several times and did try other file, same problem. I'd so far formatted and re-installed Windows XP, updated it as well inc. service pack. Ran Antivirus scan. Took out my two DDR RAMs, left one in.
Configuration is:
P4 2.4GHz
512+256+256 MB DDR RAM.
40GB harddrive (with two partitions, one runs WindowsME, other for XP Pro)
+ 2x40GB + 1x60GB Harddrive.
DVD+RW, CDRW & DVD-ROM drives.
Computer is running under normal temperature, all the time.
Not overclocking I'm sure.

   Please help.
