A while back, I asked about a problem I was having with Intel Connect. It
would seem to load up, and it would show up on the screen, but
intermittently, when I passed the cursor over it, it would disappear. (In
fact, the cursor seemed to be passing under it.)
Among the suggestions was to shut down other programs, but if the cursor
problem occurred, shutting down other programs does not resolve it.
However, what does work is to start Intel Connect first. Then, I can load up
all the other programs without a problem. I don't know if Intel Connect had
a conflict with the other programs, if it needed more resources to actually
load or, it was just getting in a snit because it wasn't first in line.
Regardless, the problem is under control, although the program has some
inexcusable faults that major manufacturers like HP and Intel should never
have allowed. So, I have gotten a replacement program (COMMUNICATE!) that I
will be loading soon, although don't tell Intel Connect, because it might get
even more temperamental.
