Yes Mick it is possible in FP2000. I no longer use 98 (2000 is MUCH more
stable -- now isn't that a sad comment? <grin> "I use version xxx because it
crashes less often".... I seem to hear that a lot when discussing those
"fine" MS products!!!)
But the search restriction is for a FOLDER, not specific files. So you will
need to isolate the pages that will be searchable by placing them into a
separate folder.
Once you have reorganized the web, create your search form and while in the
page view, RIGHT click the form.
Now select the FORM PROPERTIES -- SEARCH RESULTS tab --
SCOPE OF SEARCH -- DIRECTORY -- and then browse to
the appropriate folder (from above)
If you need more, go to the help system and search for LIMIT SEARCH. It
will bring up specific information about discussion webs, but you can
generalize from what is written.
