Go to http://www.ontrack.com/powerdesk/ and download PowerDesk 4 (either a
free version or their pay-for-play Pro version). PowerDesk includes an
unzipping utility that will work for your situation. Make sure that after
you install PowerDesk that you restart your system. You then should be able
to right-click on "Winter...." and have the option to "Extract to...."
Select that and PowerDesk should unzip your download into a folder within
the same folder Wingate currently resides. Don't forget to check out the
remaining features of PowerDesk. It's a great program.

Today I downloaded the program "Wintergate Counter" from www.wintergate.com.
When I clicked on the folder to install it, I got the good old "no program
associated......please select a program to open this...etc". Don't have a
clue what to select. It is zipped, and I can't find anything here on my
Windows 98SE that relates to unzipping, and am not sure if that
is what it is asking for anyway.

Any suggestions? I NEVER have any luck when it asks for me to choose a
program to open something.
