Allen,

You have two choices. You can change your mail program so that you only
send
him plain text.or you can get him to change his mail configuration.

To make the changes on your side, he must be set up within your address
book.
Once he has been added to your addressbook, click ADDRESSES and scroll
down the list to find him. Click once to select him and then click the
PROPERTIES
button. Now click the NAME tab (at the top) and turn on the check mark (at
the bottom)
for SEND PLAIN TEXT ONLY.

To make the changes on your friends AOL system, he will have to contact AOL
support
unless someone else on our list knows the settings. I am not that
intimately familiar
with the AOL system.

Subject: [PCSOFT] AOL cannot read mail

> My friend cannot read any of my mail I am sending from Outlook Exp with IE
5.5 and Win 98. He has AOL 4 and Win 95. What can I do since he says
nothing can be opened. No HTML, no Attachments. Only if I send plain text.
Please suggest something. Thanks.
