I've never heard of a converter, however...
You can configure the presentation to run automatically
with different time delays for each slide. And you can
turn it into a portable, executable mini-program.
The two processes vary slightly depending on the
version of PPT.
To make it run automatically in PPT 97:
Click Slide Show on the menu bar, then Set Up Show,
and choose how to run the show. Make sure the bottom item
is set for USE TIMINGS IF SET.
Now go to each individual slide and set up the timing.
Click SlideShow on the menu and pick Slide Transitions.
In the bottom left corner click the check box and set
the time in seconds.
To make it portable and self executing (in 97)
Complete *ALL* finishing touches and save the file.
Now click FILE -- PACK AND GO and follow the wizard's directions.
