Kelly,

As you have guessed, the problem is with the Cascading Style Sheet. This is
a file that was generated by Netscape and is controlled by Netscape. George
has no control over this file or the way it displays text, except (as you
noted) to turn off the style sheets completely.

Turning off the style sheets will resolve his problem with this ONE web
site, but will create many more problems with the several hundred thousand
OTHER web sites that use style sheets with correctly sized fonts.

As I said, the problem is on Netscape's end -- they designed the style sheet
with a font selection that is too small for many systems. It displays
correctly on your system because you probably have the same size monitor
with the same screen resolution which was used by the person who designed
the style sheet.

If I create a web page or a graphic image on a system with a 15" monitor set
at 800x600 resolution, the resulting file will look much smaller on a 15"
monitor with 1024x768. Conversely, if displayed on a 15" monitor at
640x480, it would be almost 40% larger than the original. And the same file
would look absolutely miniscule on a 19 or 21" monitor with 1280x1024
resolution.

This is why many web pages have a large white strip down the right side of
the screen. The original design was done on a machine with a lower screen
resolution.
