Hi,

see the following URL

http://www.pcscanandsweep.com/

<<<< Is it dangerous? What do I do to kill it? Or should I kill it? Are they trying to sell me something? If so, is it worthwhile? etc>>>.

(1)i am sure someone has downloaded a trial version of the program to your machine, since i don't think it would have installed itself as viruses, malware,spyware......whatever.... do.

(2)if you are apprehensive about using the program see if you can uninstall (either through the programs own uninstall....if there is... or through add/remove.

(3) the above URL lists its features and CITES various reputed journals as reviews but frankly i am skeptical since there is no review worth it's name
which you can access from this site.

(4) NOW pc pitstop is a reputed facility for free scan etc and have used it myself. nothing worthwhile came out of the scan but it didn't do any harm either.other list members may have something to share on this.

(5) finally they sure are trying to sell you PC ScanAndSweep (grin)
