Here is one that has me stumped. A feature of Win XP is supposed to be
that it "learns" your preferences and adjusts itself to suit you.
However, there is one adjustment that keeps annoying me. I like to have
Control Panel open with an Icon view. For some reason, my computer keeps
resetting it to detail view whenever I restart it. Any ideas or insight
as to how to "make it stick" ? This is not critical, but it does have me
very curious.

Thanks for any help or information.

Peter
