I'm running MS Office XP Professional and tried to add the Equation Editor. I opened the control panel, clicked on add/remove programs, clicked on MS Office, slected change, and located under Office Tools an equation option. I then installed the equation component and was "told" the installation was complete. However, when I open Word, go to Insert/Objects the menu does not show MS Equation Editor 3.0 as the help function says should now be available. What am I missing here?
