This is a common boot error message, which usually means that a startup
program is finding a wrong version of the .dll file. For "missing export"
read "wrong version". Typical Microsoft Techspeak, meaningless or
misleading to normal humans.
You will probably have several copies of Msvcrt.dll on your computer in
various places. You will either have to disable the particular program from
the startup chain, or, if it's important, locate whichever copy
of Msvcrt.dll the program is looking for and replace it with the correct
version. Later versions are usually, but not always, backwards-compatible,
so you might need to do a bit of juggling and trial and error to get it
right. Reinstalling the program might help.
Sometimes you can find a later installation replaces this file with a later
version, which an earlier program might then not be able to see. That's why
some programs will locate this file in their own folder rather than in a
common folder.
