A while back I got on his "Digital Lifestyle" newsletter list. In all honesty, I was uncertain if I had signed up, but thought I would check it out. I am on numerous other computer newsletter lists (Langa List, Kim Komando, Computer Lady, TNPC [nee, The Naked PC] The Internet Tourbus) and find them to be pretty much objective and sometimes downright generous in giving away valuable computer advice, often providing links to free information and downloads. However, on Ludington's list, my perception is that virtually everything has a price tag.

I know every newsletter has it's own strengths and weaknesses, and that their value will depend on what my interests are. However, I was wondering if this is just an over glorified sales letter.

Normally, I wouldn't ask this kind of question on the list, but my suspicion was that my email address might have been lifted from my posts (an incredibly rare occurrence), so was hoping to get some guidance as to whether I should consider this to be a trusted source of information.
