The way that programs get into Add/Remove Programs is that (a) they have
an uninstall (see "1)" above) and (b) the install routine inserts the
uninstall into Add/Remove Programs. Bad game software designers!

Is this because CleanSweep failed to recognize the install as an install?
Or because, when CleanSweep asked if you wanted it to capture the
installation information, you declined?

Bad game software designers! Oops, I said that already.

Well, since you've got CleanSweep, I expect you've got the rest of Norton
Utilities, right?
So what I suggest is that you find the game's installation directory
(probably under C:\Program Files) and rename it slightly, say by adding a
"_" to the name.
Then run Norton's one-step checkup or registry cleaner. Let it find all
of the registry keys that refer to a path that can no longer be found.
Norton will probably find the renamed path (or, sometimes, some totally
different path!) and offer that as a correction, but what you actually want
it to do is delete those entries.
Afterward, you can delete the renamed folder safely.

NOTE: If you haven't run it in a while, Norton might find registry errors
that have nothing to do with this game. You might want to run it once
before renaming the folder, and make sure everything else is cleaned up
first.
