More info needed please.  Did you delete them by accident, or did they just
disappear?  Any other unusual symptoms?  Did you do anything relevant
immediately prior to this?  Have you tried running Scandisk?  If  so, check
any .CHK files---they may contain your missing stuff.  What Operating
System?  How old is the Hard Drive---could it be on the way out, any bad
sectors?  What's your experience?

If you deleted them, and now want them back, there are utilities that can
do this, provided the information on that part of your hard drive has not
been overwritten in the meantime.

Supply as much info as possible, and you'll get a much more reasoned response.
