Is emm386.exe there? What about himem.sys?
Both of these are in the windows folder (at least on my win95). Check there,
and/or c:

In c:, open config.sys. Open it with Notepad. It should include the
following (Or much like it):

DEVICE=C:\windows\himem.sys /testmem:off
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE

recently my boot screen shows the message "windows expanded memory driver
not
installed" it then go's on to install and boot normally.i've checked the
various
startup and ini screens and emmm386 is checked. anyone know the fix for this
problem. jimritter
