Win XP Home 1GB Ram IE 6.0.2800 AOL V7

If I go to a certain website http://www.roadwired.com via IE it won't
connect. If I sign on to AOL and try to connect, it works perfectly. I really would
like to access this website via a desktop shortcut like I used to be able to
do. Any other desktop link works just fine. Any help greatly appreciated
