Open the Visual Basic screen and enter the following:

Sub IncByOne()

ActiveCell.Value = ActiveCell.Value + 1

End Sub
--------------------

This macro will increment the currently active cell by one each time it is
run.  You can then assign a button to a custom taskbar, and this macro to
the button.  By pushing the button at any time, the current cell value will
be incremented by one.
