Sounds as if your only hope is a recovery utility, provided you have not
written anything to your D-Drive meantime.
I've never used these---you could try a search for Data Recovery Utility in
Google or Ixquick, or the major share/freeware sites and see what comes
up. I guess you'll get what you pay for. Maybe other members have had
some experience with these utilities.

Many of them require a "snapshot" of your system to be made first, so won't
be any use to you. Avoid the "system recovery" units, they won't be any
use to you for this purpose.
