As I see it, you have two options:
1) reinstall Windows95
2) buy CD writer software that works in WIndows98
I use the Adaptec Easy CD Creator software and it works fine in Windows98.

It costs just about what you spent on Windows98... there are other such applications
available, but this is the one I use. I checked and it supports your CD Writer
or at least it lists numerous Smart & Friendly CD Writer drives. Check your
model number against those listed as supported.
