I hope someone can help me.

I recently installed a free Internet service [Freeinet] and upgraded my
Juno E-Mail to version 3.0

I can not access either program. When I try, I get the error below.

My modem is connected to Com 3, but both of these two programs have it
showing on Com 2.

My modem is operating correctly since I am able to fax, access AOL and
also access an older un-upgraded version of Juno without any trouble.

I am running Windows 98, have a 10.2 gig hard drive with 8 gig of space
and have 64 MB of RAM.

When I try to run Freeinet and my upgraded version of Juno, I get the
following error:

"This program has performed an illegal operation and will shut down."

Clicking on "Details" gives the following info:

I also think this error is interconnected with Dial-Up Networking because
when I double click on Make New Connection, all the areaswhere you would
type in a name of a new computer and Select a Device are grayed out and I
can't type anything in.

When I click on the only option available to me Install Modem, it
installs a modem on Com 2, but my modem is on Com 3.

No one that I have talked to seems to know what this means and/or how to
fix it.

Brought in my computer to have it fixed and all their suggestion was to
reformat.

Anyone have any ideas.

Sorry this is so long, but there are a lot of details.

Thanks.
