Suddenly, winword.exe is showing up when I start my Micron (I use OptiX to check for running programs and close those I probably won't need for the day to free up system resources - great program, BTW). I have checked: (1) startup; (2) OptiX and MsConfig; (3) the registry (run, etc.). Only recent changes are installation of Norton SystemWorks 2002 and TI which removes the background color from my icons. My best guess is that some program is starting it, but wouldn't it show up in Startup, Registry run, MSConfig, or OptiX?
I'm puzzled.
Thanks,
Ed Nottingham
