You only get the return receipt with the corporate/workgroup version of
Outlook98 and if its set up to use Microsoft's Exchange Server. I've heard that
it can work for some ISPs but have never gotten it to work.
I have an account on MSN and it does not work but works good on an exchange
server. It can report back when the message was delivered and when someone has
read it, or better yet when someone deleted it without reading it.

Where did you see that option? I'm using Outlook 98 (Internet Mail Only
option) and under [View >Options > Delivery Options] there is nothing like
"Tell me when this message has been delivered">
Is there another version of Outlook 98?
Richard.
