A trick I have heard of but never tried. WordPerfect does not recognize the
password protection feature. Attempt to open / import the document with
WordPerfect.

Subject: [PCSOFT] How to unprotect a Word 97 document?

I have a couple Word 97 documents that were protected, but the password is
unknown. Is there a way to hack it so I can unprotect it?

Thanks,
