===============
I am running DOS 5 and Win 3.11 (used to run 3.1). Both DOS 5 and Win3x are
Y2K compatible (I ran tests to be sure). Problem is, most mother boards are
not.
To overcome this problem you will have to add two lines to your autoexec.bat
ahead of where win is called, as follows
date
time
This will wait for the user to put in the date and time each time the system
boots.
(BTW, all you who would tell me that windows 3 uses a two digit date code,
_wrong_. It _displays_ two digits, but _stores_ all four. To set them in
control panel, put in 99, then advance with the arrow buttons. It mcan
handle up to 2095.)
