Doug,
        I just read your posting.  I am running Win95 with 64MB of RAM also.  I
just ran Camcorder.  I made a 2 minute video and played it back with no
problem.  I let Windows manage my memory.  Could it be that you have little
free space on your hard drive for Windows to use as virtual memory?
