Nero Showtime plays Quicktime---but it's not freeware. It's my first
choice for most movie formats. It's best advantage is that you can alter
brightness, contrast, etc on the fly.
VLC MediaPlayer (free) also plays this format
http://www.videolan.org/. Also a little limited compared with Nero, but
quite adequate.
Irfanview has a Quicktime plugin, though I'm not sure if it first requires
Quicktime to be installed. It's a little limited, though, as a movie viewer.
