<Subject: ip addressing

<I'm still trying to recover from the AT&T@home switch over. The
problem I'm experiencing is that I can only <address some URL's. I can
ping the ip of a nonworking URL successfully, but neither IE6.0 nor
Navigatior works <using that address. This seems to be a problem in
Windows (I use Win98se)but I'm not sure how to proceed and <I don't
want to reinstall Win98se if it can be avoided.Your ideas would be
appreciated.

This is NOT a problem with your computer.
AT&T's switch from @home has overloaded their DNS servers.
I expect the condition to improve as they add
more DNS servers to their network
