Thanks for tip, Mate. Well, when you have both firewalls up (WinXP and ZA)
and had the ZA to a very restrictive settings... couple that with our
router's firewall, I'm surprised anything could come in at all. I decided
to have a separate unprotected test line (cable) today for this purpose.

Emie, there are a heap of possible reasons for a Windows Update not doing
it's thing, and a google will find a lot of them. But the first and
simplest thing to try is to make sure the computer date is correct.
