I'm running Windows XP on my MacBook and suddenly Windows is looking for a digital audio out device. I'm getting no sound from my MacBook built-in speakers and my analog headphones don't work either. All the drivers seem to be fine. Everything worked fine for months this problem is recent. If I knew what I did to cause the problem, I'd retrace my steps and undo it. I recently downloaded RealPlayer but then uninstalled the program.

The sound is fine on the Mac side. I'm using Bootcamp (ie, not running Mac OS and Windows simultaneously).

How do I flip that internal switch so that analog hardware will work again?

Anyone have any clues?

Mike
