Hi folks,

I have an Excel template that I copied from our server to my local
hard drive (using Save As and saving it from *.xlt to *.xls). I now
want to make some changes to it. In some cells, I get the following
error: "The cell or chart you are trying to change is protected and
therefore read-only. To modify a protected cell or chart, first
remove protection using the Unprotect Sheet command. You may be
prompted for a password."

When I try this, I am indeed prompted for a password. The guy who
created this template swears he put no password on it, only went to
the file's properties and checked read-only. I have unchecked
read-only on the server copy and on my hard drive copy, but I still
get the same message.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Holli
