Good morning Vern

Have you tried to reinstall Pc-cillin ?  it sounds like your
monitor file (iomon.exe I believe its called) has become corrupt.
 A reinstallation should fix it.   Be careful with a reinstall
you "may" need to redownload recent updates afterwards.
