Check the following entries in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\GIF\Path\
...GIFIMP32.FLT

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Graphics
Filters\Import\GIF\...

These are from my NT machine, but should be similar under Win95.
