HI Linda, My step father just got a new Dell with WinME, and it too has no
reset. What you need to do is hold in the on-off button. This accomplishes
about the same, a reboot. Also just saw this on a friends IBM, a few years
old with Win98. same deal, hold in the on-off switch.

Have any of you ever heard of this on a brand new computer???? I also had
to unplug it and plug it back in and it was just like using a reset button.
There is no way to even turn the computer off from the HD. Do I tell her to
just keep on unplugging it when it freezes???

Any help would be much appreciated.
