With the suggestions from PCSOFT and other friends, the reason for its being so hard to track down "Content Advisor" -- and for its non-appearance anywhere I looked on my machine has finally been discovered.  There were no footprints by which to track this invasion because there never was an invasion -- Content Advisor is one of the Features of WinXP!  It's no longer functioning!     ---ed
