I am including a bit more information. I have two partitions- a 2 GB and a
500 Meg. I use FAT32.


My 1996 Dell Dimension 166 Pentium, 2.5 GB hard drive, 64 megs of ram, 8
speed cd-ROM with  56K 3  Com external modem is crashing all too
frequently, mainly when I am online with Netscape communicator (version
4.5), and IE (4.72.3110.) I would like to completely wipe my hard drive and
reload Windows 98 and a few select bits of software. I have so much
detritus on the hard drive it's ridiculous. I would like to clean up and
start over. Can someone tell me the best way to do this? I can backup
everything I need as far as files.
I have Win 98 on an upgrade CD, so I imagine I would need to purchase the
full installation version. I would appreciate any advice. I would like to
start over with a clean machine.
