Pat,

Just format the drive/partition and all the information on it will be gone.
(Be sure that you want to do this as it is unrecoverable.)
Then go to "My Computer" and select the drive you wish to clean (one click)
then right click to get a flow down menu. Locate the "Format" command and
click. You should get a format window.  Use all the defaults except under
"Quick Format" check the box. The drive/partition should format fairly
quick and give you a new, clean drive/partition with nothing on it.
