Pat, just had a closer look and 2 of the MSVCP60.dll's are in 2 system
folders, the other 7 are in stored Norton folders. I have a 2nd system
folder because I haven't reformatted my old hard drive yet.

Re a suitable Anti-virus prog, I've got AVG sitting in storage somewhere.
Seeing as how I'm in a state of flux with my machine, (if that's the right
term?) maybe I'll ditch Norton and try it out. Though I have to say
PC-Cillin is a very well mannered app. And it picked up the Eicar test
viruses most efficiently.

I think I need to redo my still fledgling system anyway - I dunno what's
caused it (IE6 maybe!) but now it's started spontaneously rebooting. Just
quits in mid-flight every so often and restarts. And so far, it's always
happened while I've been in Outlook Express, tho that could be coincidental.
