Just experimenting with Win2K Pro.  While playing with Mailwasher and the
diallup, I ended up somehow locking up the dialler, although there was no
sign of it on-screen.

Like, the pc appeared to be still dialling and I couldn't stop it - it kept
telling me the 'port was already open'.

I finally sorted it out by rebooting.  Is there a better way to solve this
kind of lockup?
