This will do it ... but it seems like it's more trouble than it's worth.
Maybe we can come up with something better if you tell us how you will be
using it.
Go to Tools, Visual Basic editor and enter the following code:
Sub Macro1()
ActiveCell.Value = ActiveCell.Value + 1
End Sub
If you want, you can assign a button to the macro. Then you can select the
cell you want to change and then click on the button to increment the value
in the cell.
