Besides what Jim has already mentioned, I found an old reference on
the Internet that AOL uses that file extension for their own file compression
scheme, using the Johson-Grace compreession algorithm.
I am unfamiliar with an ART compression scheme... and can only pass
along what I found, (reference: http://www.whatis.com).
