Is there any chance you've got more than one drive on the machine that can
read CD-type media? I recall some games in the past where the code checking
for the CD would stop at the first such device found. [At the time, I had a
couple of machines with 4-disk CD changer drives, which looked to software
like four CD-ROM drives. These days, most of my machines include a DVD-RW
drive and a DVD or CD player drive -- but most modern games have fixed that
bug.]

I loaded the game and then got the intro screen to "Play"' and when I choose play it says I need to insert the CD, which is already in the drive. So I eject/re-insert --- same thing. I've tried going to the drive from My Computer and executing the program, same thing. Is there some file in the game's directory I need to edit or check to make the CD readable in the CD-ROM?
As I said, this is the only one of several games I've put on the computer that is having this problem.
