James,

I have Office 97 PRO and Office 2000 PRO (as well as Corel Office 8 & 2000)
all installed on my machine with no problems.  The "no license" problem is
very common with Access 97 and is not directly associated with Office (of
any version).  As someone else has already pointed out, there is an MS
Knowledge base article for this exact problem.  .

Unfortunately, I do not remember the article number either.
