Word 2007 has added a new "style" that has the "Space after" set to 10 points
and the line spacing set to 1.15. This new style is named "Normal" and is the
default. You can see this in the "Style" group of the Home Ribbon. Right next
to it is the "old" Normal ("No Spacing"). You can select the paragraph before
you type anything and click on "No Spacing" and as long as you don't use any
other style, you will be fine, but you have to do this for every new document
you create. You can also make "No Spacing" the default for the "Normal"
template and not have to make the change every time you start a new document (or
use other styles). This involves modify and saving the Normal template.
