I am running Outlook. I subscribe to many graphics lists and need to save
the embedded images they send. Recently I began experiencing the following
problem:

When I right click to save an image, I used to get a file name and the
proper extension automatically brought up on the menu. I could then click
save and be done.

NOW when I right click, all I get is "untitled" as file name and BMP is my
only extension option. JPG, GIF, ART, etc. are no longer available.

This would happen on occasion and I could fix the problem by a system
restore or a uninstall and reinstall of Outlook Express, which I used
previously. These no longer fix the problem.

This same situation also occurs when I try to save an image in Internet
Explorer.

Gateway Tech suggested I reinstall XP, which I did...but the problem
remains.

Any thoughts?

TIA,
Sue Gasso
