Mike,
        If you are using Windows 95, Open the Internet
Properties in the Control Panel. Under the
Connection tab, there is a box you can check off
that says "Connect to the internet as needed"
This will usually let you do what you want.  Also
make sure that you have Netscape's properties set
to dial the desired internet connection.
        The "Connect to the internet as needed" option in
Windows 98 is harder to find, and I don't remember
where I saw it.
