Hi Laurie

I don't know if anyone else has already suggested this
to you, but you could also install a "family" firewall
which includes a "Parental Control" feature. This sets
up separate accounts for each user: you (or your
husband), as adimistrator, would then be able to
restrict access to particular or general web sites for
each user.

Norton Family Security (www.symantec.com) includes
this feature, as I'm sure many others do.

If you do decide to install a firewall, you should
also try and get one with "content filtering"
included. This has your firewall monitoring everything
downloaded online to make sure you're downloading what
you THINK you're downloading (there are ways for
hackers to add code, viruses or trojans to what you're
downloading). ZoneAlarm Pro version has this, but I
don't know if they have a version which also includes
the parental control feature.
Maybe someone out there reading this knows, or knows
of one with both features.

Either way, installing a (software) firewall is a
really good idea for anyone spending any amount of
time online.

Regards,
Ellen Skavla
