Hopefully this doesn't sound ignorant, but the best way to mix up the registry is to delete a
program rather than uninstall it. Others may have far better advice, but...
If I were you, I would re-install every program that you deleted, back to their original locations,
in the hope that the registry can be restored somewhat close to what it was. Then reboot your
computer and see if you can open .jpg files as you could before. If you can open them, then you have
likely restored the registry and solved your problem. Then proceed to un-install the programs you
want removed to make room for your Kodak CD.
Unfortunately, I seriously doubt that re-installing your deleted programs will solve your problem. I
suspect you will need to reformat your hard drive because too many links to the registry have been
broken. With that said, I would wait a few days and see if anyone else on the list has followed this
thread and has some better ideas for a solution. Good luck.
