I am trying to scan a black and white image and make the background (the
white part) clear. Does anyone know how to do this or if it can be done? My
book makes it sound like it can be done but I don't find the box that it says
to check. I have Photoshop 5.0 for Windows and I am running Windows 98. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
